Warm celebrations to Anqing Foreign Language School for her honor to obtain the Outstanding Organization Award in basic-level schools in the 2017 Teachers’ Education& Teaching Information Competition in Anqing City.
Meanwhile, teacher Fang Shimin was awarded the first prize. Second prize went to teacher Zhang Meng. Last but not the least, third prize winners included teachers Xu Degao, Zhang Cheng, Yang Yu and Lu Le.
Furthermore, as the saying goes, good people who live day. Students from Anqing Foreign Language School march forward regardless of hardships before the rainbow finally appears!
This year 372 students from Anqing Foreign Language School signed up for the 2017 College Entrance Examination. Altogether there were 220 students reaching the undergraduate course line, making the number of students who who reached the undergraduate course line break through 200 for the first time!
In addition, 67 students had the qualification to be admitted to key universities in this year’s College Entrance Examination. The highest score in science major is 583 points. The regular college course ratio of key classes amounts to 88.3%. The total undergraduate course ratio is 59.1%. The art and sports undergraduate course ratio equals to 92.8%, which means that the teaching quality exceeded schools in Anqing City of the same kind!
Moreover, among all candidates in this year’s College Entrance Examination, only 80 students more or less scored over 600 points in the Senior High School Entrance Examination then. Only 18 students scored above 645 marks. However, all the teachers from the Senior High Department of Anqing Foreign Language School never gave up even one student. Instead, they tenaciously strove to help students, submitting a satisfactory answer sheet to society! Hereby Anqing Foreign Language School particularly expressed salute and congratulations to the industriousness and hard work of all teachers and students! In the meantime, Anqing Foreign Language School showed sincere thanks to the concern and support of all parents and people from all walks of life!
Overall, 14 students have passed the independent recruitment examination of Grand Canyon University of the United States of America, which means they shall head for the USA to further their studies in August. More remarkably, two students He Yong and He Yinfeng who studied abroad in Grand Canyon University in 2015 got double As in this year’s exams, which means that they are expected to be enrolled in the world-renowned elite school- UCLA, other known as University of California, Los Angeles.
